After School Detention

We would like our ASD to look like this, empty.
This week the after school detentions for students with homework issues or disciplinary infractions will begin to operate.

Parents of students receiving a detention placement will be notified 1 day prior to the detention being served.  If the detention is assigned by a teacher, a note or phone call from the teacher will serve as the parent contact.  If the detention is assigned by the office, a call will be made to the student's parents to explain the circumstances leading to the detention.

Detentions are served either with the assigning teacher or in the library after school.  Students must report to detention by 3:40 and are released at 4:15.

Please help your students avoid an assigned detention by checking in with them to make sure their work is complete.  Often work is not completed because of an organizational issue.  Asking your child daily about work could help them stay organized and on top of their educational progress.

We appreciate your support and look to help our kids have a very successful year academically.
