National Milkshake Day

Last Friday was National Milkshake Day.  A little know celebration of the overall goodness of ice cream in shake form.  As you can imagine once the kids learned of the day I received some very convincing emails.  See below and enjoy the writings of our 5th graders.

Dear Mr. Mattern

It is national milkshake day. I think we should be able to get free milk shakes in the cafeteria. Well not free because there milkshake's. This is what you should do. Make a small one dollar a medium two dollars and a large three dollars.

It would be awesome if you put out every flavor. I would get a mint chocolate chip milk. I think you should make it were kids with good grades get them free. I really think the people with good grades should get a milkshake free.  They would keep us cool when it is really hot.

We should be reworded for how hard we work. And if you get them with good grades people that have bad grades would probably step it up. They should taste just like Stack in Shack’s milkshake’s. What do you think just let me know. Wait what is your favorite flavor.

Dear Mr.Matter

   Mr. Mattern you should really serve milkshakes at school. It would be awesome if you could. I also like really like them really cold because you still get chunks of ice. The ice just little chunk so no big at all. Also everybody would love if you brought them to the school.

You should serve the flavors chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. It would be awesome because then we wont have to drink water, milk, or apple juice. They are really good if you have chunks of the flavor you got. I also would like you to serve them cold and not warm. And plus people would want more,and more , and even more. And if kids are allergic to chocolate,vanilla, or strawberry then they can drink water.

Please Mr. Mattern milkshakes are awesome! And if you do that would be great. It would be great because we would be able to drink three a day. Another reason it would be great is because we  would all be hyper. And I want to go home hyper.

                                  Milk Shake

  Hey I think you should serve milkshakes.  I think because we need better things to drink. It also might put more money to it the school program with sports and stuff. I also think that because when kids hear that they will start coming to our school. This would be the best.

    There would also be more happier faces in schoo. I would also get a lot of different flavors. Kid would be so happy that you did this. I would also have people to help get enough stuff for a week. This would be awesome.

   You would only be limited 1 a day. Plus it would give you brain a wake up call. It also might make them in school. It could also make you feel more comfortable. This is why I would like mike shakes at school.
