The Lady Apache 7th Grade Team won their 2 game match with scores of 25-9 and 25-21. The WMS 7th Grade Volleyball Team record is now 2-1.
The WMS 8th Grade Lady Apaches won the 1st game of their 3 set match 25-12, lost the 2nd game 24-26, and bounced back to take the 3rd game 15-12. The WMS 8th Grade Volleyball Team's current record is also 2-1.
Leading the way with service points for the WMS 7th Grade was:
Jordan Stumbo with 6 Service Points, including 3 Aces.
Nici Gunderman had 5 Service Points, with 2 Aces, 2 Digs, and a Kill.
Kyndal Fields had 5 Service Points, with 3 Aces, and a Dig.
Taliyah Hunt contributed 4 Service Points.
Kylie Brumley had 3 Service Points, an Ace and a Dig.
Alivia Short had 2 Service Points, an Ace, a Dig, a Block, 2 Service Receptions, and 2 Kills.
Brooke Bowling had 2 Service Points, 4 Digs, and 2 Assists.
Olivia Lindsay had 3 Digs and 2 Assists.
Allyson Dillon had a Kill.
The WMS 8th Grade Team was led by:
Carmen Higdon with 11 Service Points, 4 Aces, and 6 Kills.
Sydnee Osborn had 7 Service Points with 6 Aces, 15 Service Receptions, 3 digs, 3 Assists, and a Kill.
Delaney Truman had 7 Service Points, 2 Aces, and 2 Kills.
Taylor Johnson had 13 Service Receptions, and 3 Digs.
Lexi Westendorf contributed 6 Assists.
The WMS 7th & 8th Grade Volleyball Teams will be back in action at Oak Hill on 9/10/15. The 7th Grade match will start at 6 p.m. with the 8th Grade Match to follow.
