WMS - Teens for Jeans

Thanks to the initiative of some 6th grade students, WMS took part in a national campaign to collect jeans for homeless students across the United States.

This past week, students and families of WMS donated gently, 126 pair to be exact.  Students that donated were rewarded with an Apache Way Pass and the satisfaction that they too can make a difference.

Mr. Mattern shared, "It is always a pleasure to work with students that take an initiative to show leadership; especially when the cause helps other teens. Seeing students helping others always reinforces that we have great kids."
