WMS Celebrates College Go Week

College GO! Week 2014

Sept. 22-26, 2014

All week at WMS students and staff are making a concerted effort to share and learn about furthering educational opportunities in our students future.

Students will learn about "Why College" presentations by the office staff to help students see the importance of post-secondary education. They will virtually tour colleges of staff members, learning about particular colleges from those of us who attended. While in class, students will do various activities with their flex teachers to further explore post-secondary learning opportunities. Thursday WMS will host community members that will share with our students their personal journey through college. (See schedule below for details on dates)

This week also serves as a great opportunity for you as families to share in your student's hopes and dreams. Please take some time this week to speak with and more importantly listen to your student as they are learning and exploring the possibilities of their future.
